Bearcat does Saigon 2011
Day Fourteen (03/06/2011) Goodbye Saigon
Day Thirteen (02/06/2011) Foie Gras overload
Maybe this shop was where James May got his sail ship for that Top Gear special.
Whether it be night or day, this shop was open making boats !
We skipped breakfast and headed straight to lunch at the Park Hyatt’s restaurant – Square One
Excited by the surroundings and the wide selection of meats available on the menu …
I had a brief moment of stupidity and was set on ordering the Wagyu 550g rib eye.
Luckily I came to my senses as the orders were being taken.
I settled for the Aussie 350g Rib eye (A$45 instead of A$220 for the Wagyu)
In hindsight, perhaps i should have went all out, it would have cost much more back home.
Don’t let the picture fool you.
I summed up all the might in me to finish that meal.
After dinner I was tempted by the devil again.
We went back to the Caravelle’s Vegas Club for the free drinks, lollies, cigarettes …….. and roulette.
Cashed out another 3,000,000d / A$136.
Cocky Cat blew her $20 in no time.
Me ? i rode the rollercoaster for quite some time.
Up and down, up and down, round and round.
I converted my lowest of lows into my highest point of US$446 then there was a steep decline to $0.
F!*#$^&@cking greedy bastard ! No G-Line to call in Saigon.
Flying home tomorrow !
